     Our basic savings account is called a share account because by meeting the first $25.00 requirement, you become an owner in the credit union by having one share of the business. As long as you maintain a $25.00 balance, you retain your membership and have all the rights and privileges that membership entails.
     Day-in, day-out dividends are compounded and posted to the accounts each quarter. Dividend rates are declared by the board of directors and are based on the credit union earnings.

    The Christmas Club offers the convenience of payroll deduction & no coupon books to keep up to date. Day-in, day-out dividends are compounded and posted to the accounts each quarter.
    The credit union offers a variety of loans to meet the needs of its members. Our rates are comparable to, or lower than other commercial lending institutions. Reasonable terms and payroll deductions make loan repayment less of a burden. There is no penalty for prepayment or early payoff of loans. Also, Loan Protection Insurance is available at a minimal cost to qualifiing members and is underwritten by CUNA MUTUAL Insurance Group and is available to credit union members only through Moonlight Credit Union.

Please call the credit union and update your phone number on file to avoid any disruptions in usage. Our fraud watch may temporarily freeze your card if your spending habits change, when charging more than $1000 per day, or when out of the country.

Please notifiy us prior to traveling or call 1-800-437-9392 if you think your transactions are being blocked by unusual spending patterns.

Please call the credit union and update your phone number on file to avoid any disruptions in usage.
Our fraud watch may temporarily freeze your card if your spending habits change or when out of the country. Notify us of ANY travel plans you may have so we can try to prevent any blocking of the accounts.
Please note: purchases are limited to $1,000 per day and ATM withdrawals are limited to $500 per day.

Unlawful Internet Gambling Policy
Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) of 2006

The UIGEA, signed into law in 2006, prohibits any person engaged in the business of betting or wagering (as defined in the Act) from knowingly accepting payments in connection with the participation of another person in unlawful internet gambling. The Dept of Treasury and the Federal Reserve Board have issued a joint final rule, Regulation GG, to implement this Act.

As defined in Regulation GG, unlawful Internet gambling means to “place, receive or otherwise knowingly transmit a bet or wager by any means which involves the use, at least in part, of the internet where such bet or wager is unlawful under any applicable Federal or State law in the State or Tribal lands in which the bet or wager is initiated, received or otherwise made”.

As a member of Moonlight Credit Union, these restricted transactions are prohibited from being processed through your account or banking relationship with us. If you do engage in an Internet gambling business and open a new account with us, we will ask that you provide evidence of your legal capacity to do so.
